Teacher Website Excellece Award

Larry's Links will award the
Teacher Website Excellence Award
to those websites which meet the following criteria.

1. Website developed by a working teacher.
2. Website developed for the use of the teacher's students.
3. The following information MUST be available on the website:
    a. Class information: (Information page for Parents, Class syllabus or Curriculum page)
  Syllabus/Curriculum must indicate the content which will be provided in the classes you teach.
    b. Class resources: (Class homework assignments, special projects information,
         Resource materials, content resources, academic calendar.)
   c. Motivational materials for students: (Words of wisdom, study guides)
4. Other items to be considered:
    a. Site design user friendly for students.
    b. Graphic design pleasing to the eye.
    c. Rated Pg: (No R-rated or profain content)
5. Things to avoid:
  a. Too many graphics which will make download by dial-up difficult.
  b. Too many commercial links. (makes it seem like you are just selling)
  c. Student 13 & under photos with names. (privacy issues)

Information required on application:
                                    1. Teacher name
                                    2. School, location of school
                                    3. Subjects taught
                                    4. URL of Website
                                    5. E-mail address
                                    6. Reason why your website should receive this award
